Elizabeth Hurley was fittingly pretty in pink as she looked back at a special award for her work with breast cancer awareness. The Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery alum opened up about being honored with the Impact Icon of the Year Award in a new post shared on Sunday December 21—and Hurley ditched her signature bandage dresses in favor of a Barbie-coded look complete with a bold keyhole cutout and divisive statement sleeves.
While reflecting on her honor from the Sunday Times Style Beauty Awards, which she received back in September, Hurley brightened up the red carpet in a hot pink gown that was a bold style departure from her norm. The Gossip Girl star posed with her lookalike son Damen as she made a case for dopamine dressing in the Barbie-inspired chiffon dress, which featured a giant keyhole chest cutout that went down to her ribs. Hurley contrasted her bodice’s plunging style with a mockneck design and striking flared bell sleeves that were cut completely open at the bottom from her upper arms to her wrists. Contrasting the ruching of her bodycon bodice, Hurley’s floor-length skirt flared out in soft pleats.https://www.instagram.com/p/DSijJ1eiPUU/embed/captioned/?cr=1&v=12

As she shared photos from the event, The Royals star revealed she matched her dress’s distinct hue with a boxy hot pink handbag and lipstick. She styled her golden-highlighted brunette hair in soft middle-parted waves with face-framing curled layers. Adding a hint of sparkle with multi-watt diamond stud earrings, Hurley accentuated her features with her go-to bold black eyeliner and a champagne highlighter dusted on her cheekbones.

“Thank you so much @theststyle for honoring me at the Sunday Times Style Beauty Awards with the Impact Icon of the Year award,” she captioned the throwback photo dump. “I have been the Global Ambassador for the Estée Lauder Companies Breast Cancer Campaign for 30 years and this award means the world to us.”
