Dad is home, and the Golden Retriever waiting at the gate can barely contain his excitement. His tail is wagging furiously, but he has yet to see the little puppy his dad is carrying in his arms. Shared by @nashypaws, the video shows the moment Nash meets Camper for the first time, and the greeting gets off to a very sweet start.

Nash rises onto his hind legs for a closer sniff, while Camper seems just as happy to meet him. Two months later, the pair are rarely far apart, and their family has plenty of photos and videos showing just how close the brothers have become.

Once their dad sets Camper down, the introductions get even sweeter. Nash is eager to investigate his latest housemate, and the puppy responds with licks of his own. It doesn’t take long for the two to get comfortable together.

The video moves through their first few weeks as brothers, showing how quickly they find their rhythm. In the backyard, Camper hops towards Nash, who drops into a play bow before running off to start a chase.

Inside, the pair nap together, with little Camper curled up right on top of Nash beside the couch. The pup seems determined to learn from his older brother, too. When Nash stands on the couch to look out the window, Camper follows suit. Nash lets out a bark, and Camper looks at him, then at the person filming, apparently checking whether he should join in.

They also sit side by side with their interactive treat toys, happily occupied with their snacks. In another clip, Nash offers a paw to his human, and Camper immediately places his own paw in the same hand. The puppy grows noticeably bigger as the video goes on, but he still seems keen to copy his brother.

The video has earned 1.3 million likes and more than 15 million views. One viewer wrote, “My heartttt. He’s teaching him everything he knows!” Another said, “The smiles of the older one!! Like a proud parent.”
