Sound Approach attends the Florida Audio Expo and talks with Bart Andeer, Show Director!

We attended the first audio show of 2026 in Tampa, FL – the Florida International Audio Expo (FIAE) put together by Bart Andeer and his team. Once again, our experience was very enjoyable not only because of the quality of products and brand on display but the exceptionally welcoming and friendly environment at the Sheraton Hotel where this show takes place every year!

We met with some amazing new designers including Sebastian Hasbun of Temporal Acoustics, Lucca Chesky of Chesky Audio (as well as his wonderfully kind parents, David and Patricia Chesky), the wonderful folks at Innova Design Studios! We were also able to experience some phenomenal presentations and models from Advanced Paris, Amphion, Silent Pount, Luxe 1, Temporal Acoustics, Popori, Chesky Audio, and so many others!

As always, the exhibitors were extremely kind, helpful, and more than willing to discuss their existing and new product launches to provide us with exceptional and in some cases, exceptionally detailed, information. Most of the products on display sounded absolutely phenomenal and exceeded our expectations!

Additionally, a staple at the Florida Audio Expo is the seminars on offer from various industry insiders. We attended several put on by WireWorld, Benchmark Audio, as well as the Women in HIFI panel where several industry-leading women discussed the role that women play in future of HIFI. Women like Sherri Geshelli of Geshelli Labs, Ofra German of Gershman Acoustics, Darlene Monteiro of VAC and more. It was incredibly informative, insightful, and interesting to discuss a topic that is always front of mind for dealers or retailers and provided us a glimpse into the efforts that go into appealing to different demographics.

Of course, we also had the opportunity to sit down and discuss this year’s show with the Show Director, Bart Andeer, to cover the above topics and learn what makes the Florida Expo a must-attend event for consumers and vendors alike and what things may set this experience apart from other well-known shows that happen throughout the year.
