“Money can’t buy you love” and other musings

“Money can’t buy you love … but it sure can buy you a whole lot of shoes.”

“Back in the stone age days when dinosaurs ruled the earth and I was in my youth all the boys were required to take shop classes every year and us girls were required to learn to cook and sew and other girl stuff. I don’t even know if schools offer those type classes anymore because they would cover information absolutely necessary for every household every day. Unfortunately while the classes would be worthwhile they reinforced the gender identity and roles that were expected of every boy and girl, therefore modern society would see them as improper, politically incorrect, and genderist, worse … they would encourage thrift and self-sufficiency, both of which are now considered to be evil traits.”
